Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join its Exeter team, working on a varied portfolio of professional and project assignments. You will build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality building surveying advice and services across projects.

With MRICS or progress toward chartership and a degree in Building Surveying, you will take increasing responsibility as the Exeter office grows, mentoring junior colleagues and supporting business

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Surveying or related discipline.
• MRICS status ideally or strong progress toward Chartership.
• Broad Building Surveying experience across professional and/or project work.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage own workload and client relationships.
• Interest in contributing to a growing regional team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of professional and project Building Surveying services.
• Undertake building surveys, condition surveys and defect analysis.
• Prepare specifications and oversee refurbishment, repair and improvement projects.
• Provide contract administration and project delivery services.
• Advise clients on dilapidations, party wall matters and other professional instructions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development and help grow the Building Surveying offering in the South West.
• Mentor and support more junior team members.
• Take on increasing responsibility as Exeter operation expands.

Education

Degree in Building Surveying

MRICS status ideally or progress toward Chartership
