As an international company, we emphasize training, development, and cutting-edge expertise. Due to growth, we seek a Building Surveyor for our team in Epsom, working within the Chichester and West Sussex area.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing multiple projects across sectors, providing various building surveying duties.
• Conducting feasibility studies, producing specifications, obtaining estimates and approvals, and administering contracts for refurbishment projects.
• Applying standard building contracts like JCT and NEC.
• Providing professional building surveying services.
• Mentoring junior Building Surveyors in the APC program.
• Ensuring quality, safety, and environmental principles in project management.
• Supporting senior managers and line managing junior surveyors.
• Carrying out surveys, inspections, and scheme management in the Southwest East Region.
• Assisting in developing fee proposals and bids.

Minimum requirements:

• B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or similar accredited degree by RICS.
• Chartered status preferred.
• Extensive building surveying experience and technical knowledge.
• Experience managing client expectations, profitability, and business development.
• Mentoring and project management experience.
• Knowledge of technical documentation and bids.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
