We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join an award-winning consultancy firm in West Yorkshire as an Associate / Senior Building Surveyor. Our clients are expanding rapidly and have secured numerous new projects.

This position offers career growth and a varied working role, including public and commercial sector work. It also provides opportunities for progression to more senior roles.

Working hours:

• 8.30 am – 5.30 pm
• Monday to Friday

The successful Associate / Senior Building Surveyor will be offered:

• £50,000 - £70,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
• Up to £80,000 OTE

Requirements for the Associate / Senior Building Surveyor:

• Experience as a practising Building Surveyor
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Access to own car

Role responsibilities include:

• Advising clients on building/property issues, including technical, commercial, statutory, environmental/sustainability, building regulation, and restoration matters
• Undertaking building surveys
• Monitoring property deterioration or defects and advising on repairs
• Assessing the impact of damage (e.g., fire, flood) on insurance claims
• Writing technical reports
• Negotiating repairs or financial settlements
• Advising on quality and construction aspects of new and existing buildings
• Undertaking measured surveys and dilapidations
