Job summary

James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking two Senior Building Surveyors, one based in North-east London and the other in South-east London, on a permanent, full-time basis. The role starts immediately with a salary of £60,208.

The ideal candidate will have Building Surveying experience and hold an HNC/HND in Building Surveying. Duties include leading investigations, supervising surveyors, mentoring staff, managing workloads and maintaining client contracts to high professional standards.

• Lead specialist building investigations and complex surveying instructions, providing expert technical advice and recommendations.
• Oversee and quality-check building surveyors’ work, including site inspections, reports and technical deliverables, ensuring high professional standards.
• Mentor, coach and develop building surveyors, providing technical guidance, feedback and support for professional progression.
• Manage workloads, priorities and deadlines across multiple instructions, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and to client requirements.
• Manage and oversee contracts, client relationships and commercial matters, identifying risks and ensuring contractual and professional obligations are met.

Our client is currently recruiting for 2 Senior Building Surveyors one based in North-east London and the other based in South-east London on a Permanent contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary is £60,208

The ideal candidate will have experience in Building Surveying and have a HNC/HND qualification in Building Surveying.

• Lead specialist building investigations and complex surveying instructions, providing expert technical advice and recommendations
• Oversee and quality-check building surveyors’ work, including site inspections, reports and technical deliverables, ensuring high professional standards

Experience required:

• Proven experience in building surveying and specialist investigations, including reviewing and quality-checking technical work and providing expert advice on complex building issues
• Experience in leading, mentoring and developing building surveyors, with the ability to provide technical guidance, coaching and professional support
• Strong experience in managing projects, deadlines, contracts and client relationships, with the ability to prioritise workloads, manage risk and deliver high-quality services
