Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is recruiting Senior and Principal Building Structures Engineers for an infrastructure consultancy delivering projects across the UK Public Sector and secure estates.

You will contribute to the structural design and delivery of infrastructure and Ministry of Justice building projects, including prisons and other secure facilities. Senior roles include technical leadership and project governance across multiple schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Demonstrable building structures design experience.
• Experience producing and checking structural designs, calculations, drawings and associated documentation.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with a professional institution, or progress toward chartership.
• Experience using Tekla Structural Designer and Tekla Tedds.

Responsibilities

• Produce, review and approve structural designs, calculations, drawings and documentation.
• Develop technically robust solutions meeting client requirements and standards.
• Lead or support multidisciplinary teams delivering projects.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers.
• Check deliverables and manage quality across schemes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients.
