Job summary

Sphere Solutions seeks a Building Services Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical, electrical and public health services on a landmark Bristol development. You will oversee installation, commissioning and handover, coordinating subcontractors and the project team to meet programme and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Building Services Manager on major construction projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) building services
• Experience working for a main contractor, developer or specialist MEP contractor
• Good understanding of commissioning, testing and handover processes
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate complex building services installations

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) works on site
• Coordinating specialist subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team to ensure successful installation of building services
• Monitoring progress against programme, quality standards and project milestones
• Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the design
• Identifying and resolving technical issues while maintaining programme and quality objectives
• Managing commissioning, testing and handover of all building services systems
• Ensuring all works comply with Building Regulations, health & safety legislation and project specifications
• Working closely with construction, design and commercial teams to support the successful delivery of the project
