Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or equivalent required.
• Chartered status with IMechE or equivalent professional body.
• Experience delivering written work: specifications, Basis of Design and validation plans.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors (Health/Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals or Rail).
• Knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and engineering principles (CIBSE a plus).
• Proficiency with design software; Revit and AutoCAD beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to nuclear project design and deliverables across Defence and Civil divisions.
• Produce detailed design calculations, drawings, layouts, and schematics for HVAC and BMS systems.
• Prepare estimates, bids, and procurement specifications; support project proposals.
• Ensure compliance with design and CDM regulations; mentor junior staff.
