Job summary

PRS is seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer with an electrical bias to join our facilities management team in City of Westminster, London. You will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on building services systems and diagnose electrical faults to maintain critical infrastructure.

The role involves liaising with clients and site teams, ensuring high standards of service, and participating in an on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification preferred.
• Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of building services systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across commercial building installations.
• Maintain lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and other electrical infrastructure.
• Support the maintenance of HVAC, mechanical, and general building services equipment where required.
• Complete inspections, testing, and compliance checks in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
• Accurately record work completed using maintenance management systems and documentation.
• Liaise professionally with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of service delivery.
• Participate in an on-call rota where applicable.
