The South Tyneside Council is recruiting a Building Control professional to undertake the full range of duties under the Building Regulations and Building Act at Town Hall, South Shields. The post currently operates 37 hpw but we are open to discussing part-time hours at interview.

• Experience with Building Regulations and Building Act is essential.
• Knowledge of local authority building control processes.
• Familiarity with pro rata terms and part-time arrangements is beneficial.
