Job summary

NEP UK is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for our Bracknell HQ to keep live broadcast equipment and OB trucks operational. You will coordinate maintenance, manage repairs with manufacturers and suppliers, and maintain asset records for reliability and compliance.

You will work with the Engineering teams to plan preventative maintenance, track repairs, and ensure documentation is complete. Collaboration across departments is essential to support timely deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience within a technical maintenance, engineering, broadcast or similar operational environment.
• Experience coordinating equipment repairs and associated logistics.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
• An understanding of asset management and maintenance workflows.
• Experience working with external manufacturers, suppliers or repair partners.
• Experience using purchasing, stock or ERP systems such as Proactis is desirable, but training can be provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence maintaining accurate technical records.
• Good general IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with engineers, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
• A proactive approach, you’ll be someone who follows things through rather than waiting to be chased.

Responsibilities

• Keeping our technology ready and coordinating equipment through maintenance, repair, testing and return to service.
• Raising RMAs, coordinating external repairs and preparing shipments.
• Maintaining asset information, including serial numbers, exchanges and disposals.
• Helping build complete maintenance histories to understand performance and lifecycle of equipment.
• Tracking repairs turnaround times and reporting progress to the Head of Maintenance.
• Ensuring maintenance documentation is accurate and up to date.
