AECOM is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join the Manchester Bridges team. You will lead inspection, assessment and design schemes for rail and road bridges, supervising junior staff and delivering projects to time and budget. The role requires Chartered progression and UK travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Bridge/Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering recommended.
• Graduate Member with ICE/IStructE and intent to pursue Chartership.
• Experience with bridge inspection, assessment and design schemes.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and assessment codes.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience in concrete, steel and masonry structures design.
• Project management experience with quality, time and budget targets.
• Experience in road, rail and water bridge projects.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and travel across the UK.

Responsabilités

• Undertake rail and road bridge schemes from inspection through detailed design.
• Supervise Engineers, Graduates and Technicians as appropriate.
• Prepare technical documentation for client sign-off.
• Lead on technical design for road and/or rail structures.
• Lead on assessment of road/rail structures.
• Carry out feasibility studies for bridge works.
• Perform structural inspections and reporting.
• Maintain high standards of communication with clients.
