Job summary

A highway maintenance provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join their North-West Bridges Team in Inverness or Perth. The role involves assisting with bridge maintenance design and project management, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and relevant experience. Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Relevant experience in the design and maintenance of highway bridge structures.
• Professional qualifications and membership of an appropriate professional body (IEng / CEng and MICE, MIStructE, IHE etc.)

Responsibilities

• Work in accordance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures.
• Deliver allocated projects on time and within budget.
• Assist with outline and detailed design of bridge maintenance schemes.
