Job summary

Royal Lancaster London is seeking an experienced Senior Breakfast Chef to join our Kitchen Department on a permanent basis with an immediate start. You will lead and develop the team, ensure food safety and quality, and contribute to delivering five-star service for our guests.

The role requires a 40-hour week on a shift rota; you’ll work within one of London’s happiest hotels, with staff benefits including discounts, meals on duty, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Train and develop the team below your position including apprentice chefs to the highest standard.
• Report health and safety issues or dangerous appliances to your HOD or sous chef.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and be proactive in learning and developing yourself and the team.
• Ensure compliance with all Food safety and health and safety policies.
• Assist in ensuring all mise en place is stored, date coded and rotated per policy.

Responsibilities

• Report any health and safety issues or dangerous appliances or work practices to your HOD or sous chef in his/her absence.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times and to be pro-active in learning and developing yourself and the team.
• Ensure you are compliant with all Food safety and health and safety policies.
• To assist in ensuring all mise en place is stored, date coded and rotated in line with the company food safety policy.
