Job summary

The Dorchester in London is seeking a Senior Breakfast Chef to lead daily breakfast and lunch preparations, overseeing kitchen staff and maintaining the high standards the property is renowned for. You will manage menus, cost controls, and staff development in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for daily food preparations during the day, creating dishes ranging from informal dining for breakfast and lunch, and will supervise and lead all cooking personnel in your section together with the Junior Sous Chef or in their absence.
• You will participate in menu planning and be responsible for maintaining budgeted food and recipe costs.
• You will train and develop other kitchen team members to ensure guests receive the best experience.
• You’ll show flexibility and creativity in dealing with guests’ special requests or any challenges that may arise during the day.
