Job summary

Golin Ketchum is seeking a Senior Account Executive with consumer brand PR experience and a passion for work that sparks conversation. You will be a trusted team player, actively participating in client calls and building relationships with media and influencers.

You will deliver earned-media strategies and creative campaigns for well-known consumer brands, manage multiple workstreams, and stay solutions-focused with the wider consumer team.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer PR/communications in an agency setting.
• Proactive team player with a visible presence and a positive attitude.
• Strong understanding of the media landscape and ability to pitch stories.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage client requests and be solutions-focused for any issues that arise.
• Play an active role on calls, updating the client on areas of work you are working on.
• Take the lead on media monitoring, identifying relevant coverage for clients and knowing what to flag.
• Deliver work to deadline, flagging issues and finding solutions with your wider team when necessary.
• Share information and ideas with others to help the team achieve its goals.
• Maintain a visible presence in the team, with strong communication both virtually and in-person.
• Be an active member of the consumer team sharing social trends, earned coverage and brand campaigns with the wider group.
• Have a clear understanding of how long tasks should take and manage your time accordingly.
• Assist with managing account finances
• Source and maintain relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
• Carry out research for new business proposals and pitches
