Purpose of the position
Jack Links is a family-owned and value-driven business dedicated to crafting protein-packed snacks loved worldwide. Their brands include some of the fastest-growing and innovative protein snack brands such as Jack Link's, BiFi, and Peperami.
We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager UK to oversee the growth of the Peperami brand in the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities include co-developing and executing the brand marketing plan, leading consumer-led initiatives to increase brand relevance and penetration, and supporting sales initiatives. The role reports to the Head of the Peperami brand.
Responsibilities
- Co-develop and implement brand strategy and positioning; evaluate effectiveness.
- Set marketing plans to achieve brand and commercial goals.
- Develop, implement, and analyze annual brand and communication strategies (ATL & BTL campaigns, Media).
- Manage NPD launches, working cross-functionally with R&D and operations to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with Category management, Shopper, and Sales teams to deliver consumer-centric propositions and communications.
- Participate in the cross-functional Country Business Team (CBT) and Marketing & Sales Team to meet commercial targets.
- Support Shopper Marketing & Sales teams with market, brand, and product information.
- Analyze market and consumer data to recommend future growth strategies.
- Manage marketing budgets within guidelines.
- Benchmark and adopt best practices from competitors and the market.
Experience
- Over 7 years of FMCG marketing experience, focusing on brand management, including communications, portfolio management, and innovation.
- Project management and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Experience in ATL and BTL campaigns, including digital and social media, as well as media planning.
- Successful track record in launching NPD, driving sales growth and market penetration.
- Market knowledge of the UK and Ireland FMCG environment.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and business insight skills.
- Ability to identify drivers of business and translate into action.
- Proven project management skills, capable of managing complexity.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution and creative problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator, action-oriented, self-motivated, resilient, and agile.
