Purpose of the position
Jack Links is a family-owned and value-driven business dedicated to crafting protein-packed snacks loved by consumers worldwide. Their brands include some of the fastest-growing and most innovative protein snack brands such as Jack Link's, BiFi, and Peperami.
We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager UK to oversee the growth of the Peperami brand in the UK and Ireland. Responsibilities include co-developing and executing the brand marketing plan, leading consumer-led initiatives to increase brand relevance and penetration, and supporting sales initiatives. The role reports to the Head of the Peperami brand.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement brand strategy and positioning, assessing effectiveness.
- Create marketing plans to meet brand and commercial objectives.
- Manage annual brand plans and communication strategies, including ATL & BTL campaigns and media.
- Lead NPD launches, collaborating with R&D and operations to ensure timely delivery.
- Work with Category management, Shopper, and Sales teams to develop consumer-centric propositions and communications.
- Participate in the cross-functional Country Business Team (CBT) and Marketing & Sales Team to achieve commercial targets.
- Support Shopper Marketing & Sales teams with market, brand, and product insights.
- Analyze market and consumer data to inform future growth strategies.
- Manage marketing budgets within set guidelines.
- Benchmark against competitors and market best practices.
Experience
- Over 7 years of FMCG marketing experience, focusing on brand management, including communications, portfolio management, and launches.
- Project management and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- Proven experience in ATL and BTL campaigns, including digital and social media, and media planning.
- Track record of successful NPD launches, sales growth, and market penetration.
- Market knowledge of the UK (and Ireland) FMCG environment.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and business insight skills.
- Ability to identify drivers, manage complexity, and execute strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and influence abilities.
