Job description

Job Overview

This is a 9 month secondment opportunity

The post holder will work as the Senior Booking Officer for Obstetric Ultrasound (US). They will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and contributing proactive information to support the clinical US team.

The post holder will be solely responsible for the booking of all Obstetric US scans and assisting with any administrative duties that are required within the department.

Main duties of the job
  • The post holder will assist with the day to day running of the administrative aspect of Obstetric Ultrasound.
  • The post holder will work closely with the clinical areas to support the Trust’s targets, i.e. BMUS guidelines for Obstetric scans.
  • The post holder will be involved in transforming current work practices to meet all Trust requirements.
  • The post holder will be responsible for any administrative tasks including communication with our primary care services, minute taking, supporting on any meetings deemed necessary, answering phone calls from both patients and staff and covering the front reception desk in times when there is no other cover available.
