Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Lead BMS Engineer to join our team in the UK. You will drive commissioning, programming and optimisation of Building Management Systems for diverse customer sites, guiding project teams through validation and delivery.

The role requires strong BMS knowledge, hardware understanding, and the ability to travel across the UK and internationally as needed. ALC and other major BMS platforms are used, with a competitive salary and company vehicle on

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Building Automation or HVAC Controls.
• Strong experience commissioning, troubleshooting and supporting BMS installations.
• Experience programming BMS control strategies and graphical user interfaces.
• Experience with Automated Logic (ALC) preferred; other platforms also considered.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and optimising Building Management Systems across customer sites.
• Programming and modifying BMS software, control strategies and graphical interfaces.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex BMS software, hardware and communication issues.
• Supporting functional testing, system validation and commissioning activities.
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams across the project lifecycle.
• Mentoring and sharing best practices with less experienced engineers.
• Working with Project Managers, Commissioning Engineers, Service Engineers and customers to ensure project delivery.
• Producing and maintaining technical documentation as required.
• Identifying technical risks and proposing effective solutions.
• Ensuring all work aligns with project requirements, standards and customer expectations.
