Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior BMS & Electrical Systems Engineer for its Digital Services Remote Operations team in the UK. The role focuses on remotely monitoring and analysing electrical and Building Management Systems across major customers, turning data into practical recommendations.

You will diagnose issues, identify energy-saving opportunities and help customers maximise asset performance from home-based locations with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience analysing BMS, electrical or asset-performance data.
• Knowledge of predictive analytics or condition-based monitoring.
• Experience working with asset management, monitoring or IoT platforms.
• Ability to interpret technical information and explain findings clearly to customers.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and the confidence to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor connected electrical and BMS assets and investigate system events, alarms and performance issues.
• Carry out remote diagnostics and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
• Analyse system and asset data to identify trends, potential failures and opportunities for optimisation.
• Conduct predictive analysis and provide recommendations that improve asset reliability and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and overall system operation.
• Turn complex technical data into clear reports, visualisations and practical recommendations.
• Provide technical consultancy and guidance to customers, helping them understand system performance and recommended actions.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and act as a trusted technical point of contact.
• Support colleagues with complex or escalated technical issues and share knowledge across the wider team.
