Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a leading building automation specialist on high-profile commercial, healthcare, education and industrial projects in Manchester.

You will lead commissioning activities, mentor junior engineers, test systems, document commissioning procedures and ensure work is delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Proven experience commissioning BMS systems.
• Experience with at least two platforms: Trend, Tridium/Niagara, Siemens, Schneider or ALC.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and BMS strategies.
• Electrically competent with fault-finding and commissioning skills.
• Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Commission and optimise BMS systems across projects.
• Produce descriptions of operation, commissioning schedules and technical documentation.
• Carry out testing, fault finding, panel modifications and system validation.
• Lead commissioning activities and support project delivery from start to handover.
• Mentor and support junior engineers on site.
• Attend client meetings, carry out site surveys and provide technical support.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with programme requirements.
