Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland is seeking a suitably experienced medical laboratory professional to lead the Dundee Blood Bank laboratory at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The post offers a 36-hour week, with potential unsocial hours to support service delivery.

You will supervise staff, maintain HCPC registration, and ensure UKAS/MHRA compliance via the QMS while driving service improvements across Scotland.

Qualifications

• Current HCPC registration at time of applying.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience in a critical laboratory service.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of the Dundee Blood Bank laboratory.
• Line management duties for the lab team.
• Ensure adherence to UKAS standards and MHRA regulations via the QMS.
• Support service delivery and drive change as required.
