Senior Bioprocess Scientist - Biology and Engineering

Newton Colmore is working with a biotechnology innovator in South Cambridgeshire and is seeking a scientist to join their bioprocess development team.

As a senior scientist, you will work closely with the VP of Science on complex bioprocess development challenges to enable the company to manufacture novel molecules across various modalities and therapeutic areas. Initially, you will familiarize yourself with the company's technology platform, which includes suspension mammalian cell culturing, transfection, filtration, diafiltration, and chromatography, before fully integrating into the team to take on greater responsibilities and lead process development.

You will apply your experience to advance the science of their technology, from initial ideation through to delivery and manufacturing. You will oversee the full development process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation and implement new ideas.
