Oxford Biotherapeutics (OBT) is seeking a senior bioinformatician to lead proteomics target discovery and support commercial partnering efforts. You will oversee mining and annotation of proprietary datasets to identify cancer targets and guide portfolio decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related life science discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in bioinformatics or computational biology, in industry or academia.
• Knowledge of cancer biology and targeted cancer therapeutics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mining and annotation of OBT's proteomics dataset to identify candidate targets.
• Provide analysis and recommendations informing target selection and prioritisation.
• Carry out hands-on analyses to support the Bioinformatics team and cross‑functional colleagues.
• Collaborate across the Bioinformatics team and with commercial colleagues to support company goals.
