Job summary

Intertek in Manchester is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Bioanalytical LC-MS/MS team. You will prepare, run and process clinical and non-clinical samples in a GLP, GCP and GMP‑accredited lab, supporting pharmaceutical client programmes.

The role requires hands-on LC‑MS/MS experience with strong data interpretation, accuracy and teamwork. Structured training precedes independent work and there are opportunities for method development and validation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on quantitative LC‑MS/MS experience in an industry lab.
• Experience in or understanding of a GLP, GCP or GMP environment.
• Strong numeracy and IT skills with clear reporting of results.
• Effective written and verbal communication; collaborative teamwork.
• Bioanalytical or PK analysis experience is advantageous.
• Method development/validation experience (ICH M10 helpful).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, run, and process clinical and non-clinical samples using quantitative LC‑MS/MS.
• Perform analytical testing for pharmaceutical and bioanalytical customers under GLP/GCP/GMP.
• Document and report analytical results accurately.
• Support method development and validation under supervision.
• Learn new techniques and contribute to other lab areas when needed.
