Job summary

COWI is seeking a Principal BIM Lead in the UK to lead delivery of 3D models and 2D drawings across multiple offices. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, drive BIM standards, and implement automation to boost project efficiency.

Ideal candidates have UK infrastructure BIM experience, professional EngTech, and strong scripting knowledge in Python and Dynamo, with a collaborative, growth-minded approach to staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering digital production, compliance and handover stages.
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams and integrated designs.
• Proficient with CDE tools (ProjectWise, ACC) and BIM processes.
• UK infrastructure project exposure and multi-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings to standards.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary models and ensure full integration.
• Provide technical support across project lifecycles.
• Develop automation scripts to improve workflows.
• Train and mentor colleagues and act as a lead specialist.
• Support discipline management with internal process development.
