Arup is seeking a Mechanical Building Services Engineer in Birmingham or Nottingham to join our Building Services Engineering team. You will work across multidisciplinary projects, guide graduates and mentor apprentices, contributing to design from feasibility to completion.
You’ll apply low/zero carbon tech, UK Building Regulations, Revit BIM, and dynamic thermal modelling (IES), and help the team push toward sustainable outcomes while supporting the Midlands region.

As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in our Building Services Engineering team, contributing to multidisciplinary projects. You’ll provide guidance to graduates and oversee the work and development of apprentices involved in your projects. Based in either our Birmingham or Nottingham city centre office, you’ll be part of a team of over 30 mechanical engineers and technicians. Together, these offices form our Midlands Region and are part of a wider Property team of more than 110 civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers.
