Job summary

NG Bailey in Bristol is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to lead the BIM team, produce and maintain 3D models and coordinated drawings for design and construction.

You will coordinate with engineers, site visits for hands-on insights, and mentor the team to optimize MEP solutions and ensure CDM compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing BIM Technicians or similar roles.
• Solid BIM background with CAD and Revit expertise.
• Experience in MEP projects.
• Strong communication skills, able to guide clients with limited BIM/CAD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the BIM team on assigned projects, keeping on budget and schedule.
• Create and maintain coordinated BIMs and drawings for design/construction.
• Facilitate regular coordination meetings using 3D models to improve communication.
• Stay updated on MEP systems to ensure optimized solutions and CDM compliance.
• Visit sites to gain hands-on experience and improve modeling/coordination.
• Mentor and develop the team in software, MEP systems and coordination.
• Transform engineers' calculations into accurate models, including NG Bailey Offsite solutions.
• Produce detailed drawings from 3D models for design, installation and manufacturing.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Stay updated on all MEP systems to ensure optimized solutions and compliance with CDM regulations.

• Transform engineers' calculations and sketches into accurate, structured models, incorporating NG Bailey Offsite solutions.
• Produce detailed drawings from 3D models for various stages including design, installation, and manufacturing.
