Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in bids, pursuits, proposals, or business development within legal, professional services, or a comparable environment.
• Proven experience managing complex proposals and working with senior stakeholders throughout the bid lifecycle.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to transform technical information into persuasive client-facing content.
• Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other proposal management tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach to working across multiple teams.
• Degree educated or possessing equivalent relevant professional experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the full bids and pursuits lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through to submission, presentations, and post-bid reviews.
• Develop compelling, client-focused proposals, tender responses, and panel submissions aligned to strategic growth objectives.
• Collaborate with partners and business development colleagues to identify winning strategies, key messaging, and differentiators for major opportunities.
• Conduct market, client, and stakeholder research to support pursuit planning and opportunity development.
• Draft, edit, review, and proofread bid content, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance with client requirements.
• Support the creation of proposal graphics, value propositions, operating models, and other visual content to enhance submissions.
• Contribute to bid best practice, content management initiatives, and the ongoing development of pursuit methodologies and processes.
• Analyse bid performance, client feedback, and win-rate data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
