This is a senior role within the bid team, managing and writing our larger, more complex and/or more strategic bids for a wide range of key clients.

You will:

  1. Project-manage bid responses, supporting subject matter experts and contributors to produce high-quality work.
  2. Author clear, compelling, and compliant responses to secure new clients and key accounts.
  3. Support colleagues to enhance bid management skills and build team capability.
  4. Assist the bid team with reviews and handle escalations as needed.

We’re seeking an experienced bid and proposal writer/manager to oversee end-to-end bid processes, shape responses, and collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver persuasive bids, proposals, and presentations.

You will influence how we craft our story, address client requirements, and structure our responses, working closely with a team of bid managers, coordinators, and reviewers committed to excellence.

The role involves leadership in continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring colleagues, and exemplifying best practices in bid management.

About You

Ideally, you will have:

  • Recent experience managing and writing for formal bid submissions in the public and/or private sectors.
  • Experience within the technology sector or related fields, with the ability to quickly adapt and contribute after onboarding.
  • Strong writing skills, capable of producing clear, persuasive, and well-structured content.
  • Experience in reviewing and challenging contributions to ensure high-quality responses.
  • Proven leadership in managing diverse, time-constrained bid teams on complex projects.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
  • A track record of taking responsibility for initiatives that positively impact the workplace.
