Interface Recruitment in Leeds is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to establish a BI function across the Group, driving consistent reporting and data definitions to support a data-driven culture. You will lead BI delivery, coach developers, and ensure timely, high-quality insights for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Microsoft BI stack including SSIS, SSRS and SQL Server.
• Experience delivering BI/reporting via QlikView or similar enterprise BI tools.
• Proven ability to build data warehouses for reporting and dashboards.
• Ability to review existing code and enforce coding standards across BI development.
• Strong SQL and data modelling knowledge (Kimball) and metadata governance.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day people management of BI Developers and Analysts
• Coaching and monitoring developers against objectives and goals
• Manage and deliver BI in line with BI Programme Manager roadmap
• Present technical BI solutions to non-technical stakeholders
• Take ownership of technical design, architecture and BI delivery goals
• Provide technical solutions and answers to difficult business issues
• ETL scripting, data modelling and report/dashboard delivery within BI tool
• Develop technical processes for business demands with ad-hoc and strategic considerations
• Develop BI tool architecture including data presentation, data modelling, data blending, metadata and semantic layer development
• Support data warehouses roadmap delivery with data architects
• Ensure BI reporting is governed to a high standard with Business Glossary
• Support and manage BI tool migration projects
• Ensure hardware/software up-to-date for BI tools and user demands
