Job summary

ASOS is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to lead the BI team and own the data warehouse, data sync, and reporting across FinTech and Fashion Tech. You will shape the data strategy, mentor engineers, and drive platform decisions during a potential migration to Microsoft Fabric.

You will build robust data pipelines in Python, PySpark and Delta Lake, deliver performant Power BI reports, and partner with Finance, Buying, and Product to understand data needs.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, PySpark and Delta Lake.
• Experience with Azure data stack and Databricks.
• Strong SQL/T‑SQL skills and data warehouse design.
• Experience integrating ERP data, preferably Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Leadership and mentoring of BI engineers; stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Mentor BI Engineers and set technical standards.
• Own data warehouse, pipelines and ERP data sync.
• Deliver scalable Power BI reports and data models.
• Design Python, PySpark and Delta Lake pipelines; write SQL behind models.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tech and Fashion stakeholders.
• Ensure governance, cost control and platform reliability.
