Job summary

Anaplan in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior BI Developer/Analyst who will own data domains end-to-end and build semantic layers to deliver clear, self-serve insights. You will work within the GPTO team to enable and measure Anaplan's AI initiatives.

You will design dashboards and report on delivery, quality, dependencies, investment and AI adoption, collaborating with engineering leaders to translate business questions into data answers.

Qualifications

• Experience building production BI in a fast-paced software or tech environment.
• Strong SQL skills and data modelling across large warehouses.
• Proficient in Python for data transforms and scripting.
• Hands-on with Tableau, PowerBI or eazyBI and related BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own 2-3 data domains from raw data to stakeholder visuals.
• Design, build and document semantic layers translating Jira/GitHub data for self-serve reporting.
• Contribute to engineering enablement with tests and data quality tasks.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to formalize ambiguous questions into data answers.
• Advise on useful metrics and what to measure; challenge requirements.
• Develop dashboards tracking delivery, quality, dependencies, investment and AI adoption.
