Job summary

Mint Selection is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own the delivery of a utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the UK, from pre-construction through energisation. You will lead design, procurement and construction activities, coordinating internal and external teams to meet programme, cost and quality targets.

This role requires proven leadership on energy or infrastructure projects (200MW+), strong financial management, and capable contractor engagement.

Qualifications

• Delivery of energy or infrastructure projects as project lead.
• Experience on BESS, solar, thermal generation or other 200MW+ projects.
• Experience negotiating packages, pricing and risk with contractors.
• Strong forecasting and schedule control.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of a 400MW+ BESS project from design through energisation.
• Lead contractor engagement and early contractor involvement.
• Run multidisciplinary teams with monthly delivery plans and reports.
• Manage HSE, contracts, and commercial issues with credibility.
