Job summary

GAUCHO in London is seeking a Senior Bartender with a passion for cocktails and an eye for detail. You will deliver drinks to GAUCHO specifications, support the bar team and uphold the Cycle of Service during peak service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of cocktail experience, thrives in a high-end setting and can lead and train junior staff while maintaining quality and efficiency across all service areas.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years previous experience in cocktail making.
• Enthusiasm for cocktails and spirits.
• Be confident in a busy, high end environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining skills and product knowledge as taught at the GAUCHO Academy.
• Attending and responding to post-academy company training.
• Supporting, training and acting as a role model to new team members.
• Completing quality preparation of duties to clean, set up, handover and close the bar.
• Maintaining beverage stock, garnishes and glassware.
• Service of all drink and food orders in the bars per Cycle of Service standards.
• Quality & consistency focus.
• Ensuring drinks meet GAUCHO specs, presentation and timing.
• Stock control and waste awareness.
• Support stock control, FIFO rotation and waste reduction.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Bartender
