Job summary

JAC Recruitment (UK) Ltd. seeks an Engagement Manager to lead a large-scale banking transformation programme in Central London. This on-site contract role demands senior migration leadership to convert strategy into an executable plan across systems, data, and interfaces.

You will oversee cross-workstream delivery, manage risk and governance, and report to executive stakeholders. 15+ years in banking tech transformation with Oracle EBS or similar is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of banking technology transformation experience.
• Proven track record leading multi-system migration programmes.
• Hands-on lifecycle experience: mobilisation, planning, data migration, testing, rehearsals, cutover, go-live.
• Experience with Core Banking platforms and GL/Sub-ledger systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication.
• UK or EMEA banking transformation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the integrated migration roadmap, milestones, governance framework, and critical path across a multi-phase transformation programme.
• Coordinate migration planning across workstreams: systems, environments, interfaces, data, testing, releases.
• Provide programme-level oversight of migration activities across core banking platforms, GL, sub-ledger, and data warehouses.
• Drive data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and end-to-end data integrity.
• Coordinate rehearsals, testing, cutover planning, rollback strategies, readiness reviews, and Go/No-Go assessments.
• Manage programme risks, issues, dependencies, and governance controls.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and executive stakeholder discussions.
• Provide clear reporting and delivery assurance to senior leadership.
