Job summary

Standard Bank Offshore seeks a senior Compliance risk professional to execute compliance risk management processes and ensure initiatives align with regulatory expectations. You will advise, influence and support business areas on compliance matters and regulatory developments.

The role requires deep knowledge of banking products, regulatory frameworks and internal controls, with a track record of managing compliance risks in financial services.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of Compliance experience.
• Expert in Compliance with knowledge of regulatory requirements and banking products.
• Ability to advise management and stakeholders on regulatory developments and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Inform Business Line Heads and CoE Heads about regulatory inspections and findings.
• Provide guidance on regulatory frameworks and compliance mechanisms for operations.
• Review and tailor compliance frameworks, standards and procedures within a function.
• Fulfil the regulatory role as prescribed by governing bodies.
• Customise and maintain risk management plans to fit regulatory context.
