Job summary

Coforge seeks a Senior Solutions Architect to drive enterprise architectures for Tier-1 UK and European Banking & Financial Services clients. Based in London, you will bridge legacy banking with cloud-native ecosystems, and advance AI-native engineering across critical workloads.

The role requires 15+ years in software/solutions architecture, deep banking domain knowledge, and strong cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

15+ years of experience across hands-on software engineering, distributed systems design and enterprise/solution architecture.
Deep banking domain knowledge including retail banking, payments and capital markets.
Proven cloud expertise in AWS, Azure or GCP with professional certifications preferred.
Experience with AI-native paradigms, multi-agent frameworks, LLM orchestration and data streaming.
Strong command of modern architectural paradigms: microservices, DDD, EDA, REST/GraphQL.
Executive stakeholder management: engaging with C-level and architecture boards.

Responsibilities

Architect robust, scalable target-state solutions on a major hyperscaler for banking environments.
Lead AI-native engineering and agentic workflows in core banking, payments, and risk ops.
Translate business needs into modular, event-driven, API-first architectures.
Partner with CTOs and sales to respond to RFPs and design architectural blueprints.
Ensure blueprints meet UK/EU regulatory and cyber resilience standards.
Provide technical leadership and governance across engineering squads.
