Job description

Eden Scott's client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Banking Administrator Assistant to join their Banking Commercial Service team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in complaints processes, regulatory returns, client communications, and Banking operational activities within a financial services environment. The role is hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days at home after training


Key Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support for the end-to-end complaints handling process, ensuring cases are recorded, tracked, and resolved in line with regulatory standards.

  • Assist in compiling and submitting timely and accurate regulatory returns, ensuring full compliance with FCA/PRA requirements.

  • Support the preparation and distribution of clear, compliant regulatory client communications, including disclosures and updates.

  • Contribute to the smooth delivery of day-to-day operational activities, maintaining data accuracy and process efficiency.

  • Liaise with internal teams such as Compliance, Risk, and Operations to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to controls.

  • Help identify and implement improvements in administrative processes and reporting methods.


Person Specification



  • Experience in a banking or financial services role, ideally within a commercial or client service environment.

  • Familiarity with UK financial regulations and administrative requirements related to complaints and reporting.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with a customer-focused and professional approach.

  • Confident using MS Office tools and internal banking systems or CRMs.

  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
