Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Mental Health Practitioner to join the Adult Community Mental Health Team in Greater Manchester. You will provide senior clinical leadership, conduct comprehensive assessments, coordinate ongoing care, and drive person-centred planning.

The role offers flexible patterns across Greater Manchester with opportunities for professional development. The ideal candidate will hold current professional registration (NMC/HCPC), have substantial adult mental health

Qualifications

• Professional registration with NMC, HCPC or another relevant body is required.
• Significant experience in adult mental health services.
• Community Mental Health Teams experience is desirable.
• Leadership experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior practitioners.
• Strong risk assessment, safeguarding, care planning and complex case management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary working abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior clinical leadership and specialist mental health assessment across the Adult CMHT pathway.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, short-term interventions, ongoing care coordination and discharge planning.
• Support formulation, care planning, risk management and safeguarding processes.
• Promote use of recovery-focused interventions including DIALOG+.
• Manage a caseload delivering assessments, formulations and interventions.
• Provide line management, supervision and clinical support to Band 6 practitioners and the team.
