Job summary

A prestigious culinary institution in Greater London seeks an experienced Baker to join its team. We are looking for an experienced Baker to join the team at Science Museum London

Our catering outlets are open 7 days a week to serve our customers freshly made lunches such as sandwiches, pizzas, salads and cakes as well as events and afternoon tea.

Salary: £14.75 per hour

Shifts: 5 days out of 7, daytime

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

About the Senior Baker role:

• Reporting directly with the Head Chef and managethe baking sectionof the kitchen
• Working with the Head Chef and Group Executive Chef to develop maintain and newmenu ideas
• Ensuring the food quality is at its highest standard at all times
• Ensure the performance of the bakingteamis of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example
• Overseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef
• Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience within a high volume kitchens
• Strong communication and leadership skills
