Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial backend experience.
• Experience integrating business-critical systems with ERP, warehouse or finance platforms.
• Strong SQL with database design and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SOLID, Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing and Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend integrations between digital platforms and core business systems, including warehouse, ERP and finance solutions.
• Build scalable middleware to support order processing, inventory synchronisation and real-time data exchange.
• Create and maintain REST APIs and event-driven integrations across multiple systems.
• Implement queue-based processing to support high-volume asynchronous workloads.
• Improve system resilience through retry mechanisms, circuit breakers and fault-tolerant design.
• Work closely with engineers, product teams and operational stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practice through code reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Develop modern, cloud-ready services using clean, maintainable and scalable architecture.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability and efficiency.
