Job summary

Depixen Llc is seeking a Senior Go Developer in London to lead the design and development of scalable backend services that power real-time applications used by millions. You will architect, implement, and own high-performance Go services and drive best practices across the team.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical direction, and ensure robust observability, testing, and automation. A strong focus on distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native architectures is required.

Qualifications

• Strong system design skills for scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs across scalability, latency, cost, and complexity.
• Senior-level experience building production-grade Go services with ownership.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience with distributed systems, async workflows and Domain-Driven Design.
• Proficiency with Docker, observability stacks, and RESTful APIs.
• In-depth understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.

Required Qualifications

• - Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs involving scalability, consistency, availability, latency, cost, and operational complexity.
• - Demonstrated senior-level experience building production-grade Go services, including system design, distributed systems, performance optimisation, and operational ownership.
• - Strong command of PostgreSQL and Redis.
• - Proven experience with distributed systems, async workflows and Domain-Driven Design.
• - Proficiency with Docker, observability stacks, and RESTful APIs.
• - In-depth understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
