TransPerfect Translations International is seeking a Software Engineer to help drive quality, development, and execution of our software products. You’ll join a global techOps team spanning Barcelona, New York, London, Manchester, Bucharest and India.

The role focuses on building scalable web and mobile applications, maintaining APIs, and collaborating with product managers, QA, and other engineers to deliver secure, reliable software.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on building scalable and reliable systems.

Mansioni

• Engage in all phases of application development, with a focus on coding and debugging in alignment with security standards throughout the lifecycle.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code/APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, designers and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate issues.
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability and security.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard data and protect against threats.
• Develop automation tests and collaborate with automation engineers for regression testing.
• Work closely with users to provide personalized software support as needed.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to improve backend infrastructure.
• Document application support and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
