The Business Connection Group is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer for a UK remote role. You will join a highly technical core systems team, leading projects from design to launch and working alongside top engineers to build scalable infrastructure.

You will focus on distributed systems, CPU-to-GPU pipelines, and advanced algorithms, while ensuring robust testing and performance enhancements across platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Degree (BSc/MSc) in relevant field
• 5+ years hands-on software development
• Strong in Go, C/C++, Rust or Java
• 3+ years building or running large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks
• Solid grasp of cloud, container orchestration and distributed data systems
• Proven technical design and project delivery experience
• Eligible to work full‑time in the UK

Aufgaben

• Design, build and refine systems powering critical connectivity infrastructure
• Lead technical work alongside top industry engineers, owning projects from design through to launch
• Scale and improve distributed systems for advanced link modelling
• Shift computational pipelines from CPU to GPU architecture for greater speed and efficiency
• Refine algorithms using signal processing and linear algebra to boost capability
• Maintain code quality, diagnose performance issues and strengthen testing practices
