The role emphasizes customer obsession, shipping culture, and ownership from problem scoping to production rollout. You should have 8+ years of backend experience, strong SQL, Python, and SDKs, plus a track record of delivering high-quality, scalable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as backend engineer building scalable, fast-growing systems.
• Advanced SQL skills beyond basic queries.
• High quality focus; cut scope when needed while shipping value.
• Customer-obsessed mindset; imagine yourself as user of the feature.
• Able to scope, prioritize, and drive end-to-end deliveries with Product.
• Familiar with unfamiliar codebases and quick to onboard.

Responsibilities

• Meet with team and mentors to get up to speed.
• Set up repos and dev environment; ship first project.
• Learn RevenueCat dashboards, logging, and tooling.
• Collaborate with Product to scope and rollout features end-to-end.
• Participate in code reviews to improve reliability and quality.
• Mentor newer engineers as you grow in the role.
