Midnite is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team. You will build and maintain the backend systems powering our product experience, develop APIs for web and mobile, and deliver robust, maintainable code in a fast-paced daily deployment environment.

Our stack is Python on AWS with Flask, Pytest, Mypy, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQS, S3, and Terraform. Strong backend fundamentals and a willingness to learn are essential; prior gaming or casino experience is not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience building and operating production systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the full backend lifecycle — Design, develop, test, monitor and maintain backend services for our systems.
