Job summary

Lockwood Publishing is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Backend team. This remote role focuses on building scalable backend systems powering Avakin Life, with emphasis on Golang and microservices.

You will collaborate across teams, drive performance, reliability, and security, and contribute to a vibrant live game platform used by millions. You’ll work in a flexible, creative environment, engaging with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices, and have opportunities

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience in backend roles, with strong Golang skills.
Strong understanding of SDLC and agile processes, with experience delivering software in a fast-paced environment.
Experience designing and operating distributed backend systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a growth mindset.

Responsibilities
