Job summary

SeedLegals is seeking senior backend developers to join a global, cross-functional team near Old Street in London with hybrid/remote options. You will mentor junior engineers, drive architecture decisions, and contribute to a codebase focused on social investment features, AI-enhanced products, and legal template generation.

The team is international, about 20+ developers from 12 countries, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience with JVM languages (Kotlin) and Spring framework.
• Strong backend architecture and API design skills.
• Commitment to code quality, testing, and peer reviews.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.
• Make architecture and design decisions for backend systems.
• Build high-performance RESTful APIs and services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on AI-enabled features and workflow tooling.
