Job summary

SeedLegals Limited is seeking senior backend developers to mentor junior engineers, shape architecture, and contribute to a growing codebase. You will work in a scrum team of 6-8 engineers, a UX designer, and a Product Manager, driving innovations such as AI-enabled features and document/workflow management.

Based in London with a hybrid/remote working model, you will gain extensive domain knowledge in startups, VC fundraising, and legal technology while collaborating with a multinational team.

Qualifications

• Experience with JVM languages (Kotlin) and Spring.
• Strong background building high-performance APIs.
• Experience with AI-enabled features in backend products.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and secure-by-design mindset.
• Familiarity with code reviews and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior developers and guide architecture decisions.
• Contribute to backend codebase and API design across services.
• Work in a scrum team with 6-8 engineers, a UX designer and a PM.
• Drive innovation on features like AI integrations, document/workflow management, and template generation.
